More Recovery Capital Funding available for Leeds

Forward Leeds have announced that the first round of 2025/26 Recovery Capital Funding is now open to bids

£5000 of funding is now available to invest in ideas that support the Leeds Recovery Community.

Helen Moran from Leeds City Council, who is part of the small assessment panel, said: “This time around, we’re especially keen to see applications from people in recovery with new products, services or projects that would benefit from a small injection of funding to help bring their ideas to life.”

The Leeds Recovery Capital Fund was established in 2024 to invest in ideas that help people in recovery or show our city what a thriving recovery community can give back to Leeds.

People bidding for this second round of funding will need to have their bids in by Monday 8 September 2025. They can then pitch in-person or online to the Leeds Recovery Capital Fund Panel.

To make a bid for all or part of the £5,000 Forward Leeds needs the following:

  • Name of your group/ idea?
  • The amount you need to kick start this idea?
  • A plan of what you will do to organise and make the idea happen?
  • What will be achieved and by when?
